Boston & Salem, MA
5-Day Itinerary: Boston & Salem
Day 1: Arriving in Boston
Morning:
We flew into Boston from San Antonio and got there around 2 PM—ready to start our girls’ trip!
Afternoon:
After checking into our cozy Airbnb in Revere, MA, we grabbed an Uber to Revere Beach. We had lunch at Draft Revere, walked around the beach for a bit, and just soaked in the chill beach vibes.
Evening:
We were pretty tired from traveling, so we picked up snacks and water from Walgreens (super close to our Airbnb) and had a quiet movie night in to recharge.
Day 2: Fenway Park
Morning:
We headed to downtown Boston for breakfast at Tatte Bakery and their coffee and pastries are so good! After that, we walked over to Quincy Market to check out the shops, but since it was raining, we stayed indoors until it cleared up.
Afternoon:
Once the weather got better, we took a stroll by the pier and made a stop at the Sam Adams Tap Room for a quick drink before heading to Fenway Park for the game! We got there early, did some shopping, and settled in for an exciting Red Sox win!
Evening:
Dinner at the Bleacher Bar, right under Fenway, was a fun way to end the night. Good food, good vibes, and all things baseball!
Day 3: A day in Salem
Morning:
We started our Salem adventure with breakfast at Lulu’s Bakery & Pantry and then headed to the Salem Witch Museum. Super cool and a little spooky—totally worth it, especially if you’re into history.
Afternoon:
Downtown Salem was so much fun to explore. We visited Wynott’s Wands (which gave major Harry Potter vibes) and checked out some Hocus Pocus filming spots. Lunch at Turner’s Seafood was a highlight—I had the lobster roll, and it was delicious!
Evening:
We had some time to kill before our ghost tour, so we wandered over to the Salem Maritime National Historic Site and took pictures by the cutest little lighthouse. After a drink at Notch Brewing, we went on the ghost/historic tour at 8:30 PM. It was a perfect mix of spooky and interesting. Highly recommend!
Day 4: Exploring Boston
Morning:
We grabbed coffee and a pastry at Central Perk before visiting the Boston Public Library. This place is stunning—I could spend hours there! We also found Brattle Book Shop, an outdoor bookstore that’s a must-see for book lovers!
Afternoon:
Next up, we walked the Freedom Trail. It was all going great until, of course, the skies opened up and it started pouring! Our tour guide was amazing though and kept going despite the rain. We ducked into a subway station to stay dry and then made one last stop at Sam Adams Tap Room. When they couldn’t serve food due to an event, we grabbed Sweetgreen for dinner and headed back to the Airbnb to relax.
Day 5: Farewell, Boston
Morning:
After an incredible trip, it was time to head home. We Ubered back to the airport, said goodbye to Boston, and flew home to SATX!
This trip was such a perfect mix of everything—sightseeing, sports, food, and a little bit of spookiness. Boston and Salem didn’t disappoint!
